iMessage/FaceTime

I just bought an iPad Mini 3 but can't seem to get iMessage/FaceTime working anymore. There were OK last night when I set it up but now it's asking for a password and then it loads but just returns to the sign in part.

I've tried resetting network settings and all settings. restarting the ipad. even opening the ports on my router that apple says are needed. nothing is happening.


any advice or is it an issue at apples end?

I'm running into the same problem after changing my Apple ID today. It's working ok on my iPad and Mac, but not on my iPhone. I keep getting activation errors.
