After upgrading to iOS 9 and El Cap, iMessage forwarding stopped working between my iPhone 5 and my '13 MBPr 15". Whatever I do, when I enable message forwarding on the phone, the Messages program pops up on the screen of the Mac, but I don't receive the necessary code to authenticate the devices with each other.
I've tried all kinds of tips found in forum posts and on blogs, ranging all the way from technically plausible to black magic, but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone found a reliable way to get Message Forwarding working between an iPhone and a Mac once a working connection has been broken? Is this a known bug?
