Imessage help

hi, when i get a iMessage on my phone and read and delete it, i still see it on my mac and iPad ? should this sync and delete from all devices ? i also see this on my watch to... I hope i don't have to go into each device and delete the message manually ?

Deletions are not synchronised. I used to think that was because it would be difficult to do, until someone pointed out that the read/unread status is synchronised, so now I think it's a "feature".
