Hi I was wondering if there is a way to use my cell phone number on iMessage on my ipad 2? I do NOT have an iPhone, just a regular cell phone. I wanted to connect my number with iMessage so I can use iMessage to text my friends and have my number come up not my email.

What would be the difference?
Unless your friends don't have you as a contact, you will always appear as they name you, so you can be using your phone number or email and nobody will realize at first.
Now, if you meant text as in SMS, then even if you could connect to iMessage via a phone number, you wouldn't be able to send it on the iPad, as it lacks the cellular chip (so there is no carrier it would send the SMS through).
