iMessage Issues iOS 16

Amount of issues with iOS after updating to 16 is surprising. I cannot delete certain text exchanges...sometimes I get a message from a contact and it will list just their phone number and not contact information.

Anyone else having issues?

I posted about this the other day where my messages show as phone numbers and not the contacts names. Also the image for the contact doesn’t show either.

Nobody responded so assumed just me. But now you make me think it could actually be an IOS update bug.

I called Apple, logged it and they aren’t responding to me now. Typical when an unknown bug is reported after a major OS update.

Also can I ask, have you touched the duplicates feature in contacts?! This is a current working theory

I want to know if there is a way to delete messages without being asked if you want to report it as junk! I keep accidentally reporting messages as junk because that stupid thing pops up after I delete it! There’s gotta be a way to turn that off.

There is another thread already asking about this specific issue. Hopefully the answer will be shared there. Apart from settings for messages I have no idea.
