iMessage lag/freeze in maxed out MBP

Hey all,

Sometimes when I open I message I am unable to click the names of the people in the messages for a couple of seconds due to it freezing. I'm not sure if this is an issue with iMessage, but wanted to check if anyone else experienced this. I had some initial laggy and beach balling with some apps, but figured that's due to the spotlight indexing and mails downloading that may be slowing things down. This is a 2.9/1tb/Vega 20 system btw. Thx

Yea since the update I keep getting this on Mac mini 2018

Happy it's not me. I'm getting typing lag in Microsoft word. Anyone else getting general lag? I'm trying to see if it's my computer or this update as I didn't have a MacBook Pro before the update. THANKS
