My friend's iPhone has this issue (writing for my friend, because she's not exactly a tech wizard), where in iMessages texts are sent and received perfectly fine, photos can be sent without a problem, but if anyone sends her a photo, it looks like this: https://cl.ly/3f2w2Z2k2Y2t. And despite what it says, tapping to download doesn't work. It's the same whether on wifi or 3G/4G, and I've had her sign in and out of iMessage, both with and without AppleID. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
