iMessage not working

Before I updated to 8.0.2 my messages were sending through the internet to get to my mum who has an iPhone on 8.0. Now they all send as SMS, including hers. iMessage is on on all devices. Updating to 8.0.2 and will see if that works!

Don't forget to login under Settings - Messages.
