iMessage on Mac OS 15 no longer works

Since updating to OS 15, my mac iMessage no longer receives and sends iMessage. I have attempted to restart, sign in and out of apple account on both mac and iPhone, etc to no avail. iPhone is on ios18 as well

Anyone else running into these issues?

Yes I have exactly the same problem. Strangely one chat out of all my messages is working and is updating. I know that person has the latest iPhone and is up to date. I also have a group message where this person is a member of the group and that appears to be updating too. All the others appear frozen in time since updating.

I'm surprised I've not heard more fuss about this. I've found it mentioned on a reddit post but nowhere else. I would have managed with the iPhone mirroring but that has broken as well, and just displays errors despite me resetting the link etc. Very frustrating as the upgrade to 15 hasn't really given me anything of much value personally.

probably not hearing much because it's not affecting many or others? it seems to be working fine and the same for me as Sonoma.

Short answer is that Apple are probably already aware and as long as it's not due to a VPN (mine isn't) it will most likely be patched in time.
