iMessage Photo Help! (File Transfers)

Hello fellow mac friends!

I am stumped on something and thought one of you geniuses would be able to help!

I am experiencing a bug with the Messages app under OS X Mountain Lion on my Mac Book Pro...


When i attempt to send a friend an iMessage (technically a text to a phone) with a picture on it, the message does not go through and when someone tries to send me an iMessage with a picture it only comes through to my iphone but not my Mac Book Pro..

And then, upon closing iMessage i get a message saying there is a file transfer in progress. When i review file transfers it shows any picture file that I have attempted to send or receive but it wont download....

anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?! I'm so confused!

This just started happening to me yesterday. Still works on my iMac and my iPhone, but won't go to my MBA. All are up to date. Here's a screenshot of my file transfer window; neither sending or receiving pictures is possible on my MBA anymore. I've repaired permissions and restarted, but no luck.
