Trying to figure this out: my wife receives all txt mssgs to her iPhone 4, but they recently stopped going to her iPad. A mssg will only go to her iPad if she's txt'd using one of her alias that she can be reached by.

I checked on her iPad and noticed that under Settings> Messages>Send & Receive, her phone number is not listed like it is on our iPhones. Shouldn't there be a phone number in addition to her email addresses?

thanks

on my ipad and ipod, i have the option of receiving and sending from my phone number on them since my apple ID is associated with an active iphone as well. you can try turning imessage off then on again and try to get it to reactivate again. my guess, is it should show.
