iMessage Question (Mac to iphone)

I deleted an iMessage thread on my iPhone. This included a ton of attachments. However, I am able to see the entire thread on my iMessage on my mac. Is there a way to reload this thread back onto my iPhone from my mac?

FWIW, I do not have a recent backup for my phone.

I think if you send another message to that same person on either your iPhone or Mac that the entire thread should be visible again.

Your phone didn't do an iCloud backup when you were on wifi and charging?

That doesn't work.

That doesn't work. It never pushes the thread from the Mac back to iphone. It only goes the other way it seems.
