Hello. I am not sure about something. Coming from many years on android if I use the "move to IOS" app to move my messages to the iPhone will the existing group chats still work or will I have problems with them since my number was previously an android? Thank you.

Short answer is you'll just have to try it and see.
iPhones can be part of MMS/RCS group chats just like Android, so "Probably" no issues as long as the group chats still contain at least one non-iPhone. Where you might run into issues is if you were the ONLY Android in the group; the group may need to be re-formed if it's desired for it to be iMessage instead of MMS/RCS.
