iMessage sends texts to other iPhone users with a green message

I haven't played with iMessage since I got my iPhone, but I figured I'd try to get this sorted out. All my family have iPhones, but when I message them, it shows as green instead of blue, and I have no idea how to make it send using Apple's iMessage.

Am I missing something? I send a message using contacts saved on the phone.

Figured it out. I had only selected my email addresses when sending using iMessage. I just had to add my mobile phone number. Working great now! Thanks!
