iMessage slow to send on Ventura 13.1

Anybody noticing that iMessages sent through the Mac app now produce the progress bar in the chat window more than ever? Every now and then this happens but it's been way more regular since 13.1 for me and a friend. They do send, but its progress bar for like 3 seconds or so.

My brother now says that he has similar issues with iMessage - long delays on receiving messages since the last updates.

Yes! Still happening ever since Ventura. My Internet connection is 400mbps+ yet my Mac Pro feels like a computer with dial-up speed.

Well the good news is that apple employees are experiencing the same thing so they’ll fix it eventually.
