I just got an iPhone 5 today and when I looked at the "You can be reached by iMessage at:" settings, both my number and another phone on the family plan are on it. Will they be receiving my iMessages as well? How do I delete their number off of it? I just want my messages sent to me.

You should be receiving all messages sent to both numbers. If you want to disassociate yourself, then can you tap the 2nd number and the check should disappear. You would have to do this on both phones.

However, this means both phones are using your icloud account, I would look into this more than just not receiving messages.
