Hi,
My aircraft has a Satellite data connection which will pair with my iPad over Bluetooth to provide internet access to the iPad.
Required in-flight configuration: Airplane mode ON. Wifi OFF. Bluetooth ON.
This works for all apps, however not for iMessage. When trying to send an iMessage an alert pops up saying "Either turn Airplane Mode off or enable WiFi to send iMessage", and the iMessage will not send.
There shouldn't be any reason why it can't send an iMessage over a Bluetooth internet connection that I can think of.
This is obviously an unusual situation, but is the only way I can connect in the air. Does anyone have any ideas?
iPad Air 2, iOS 9.3.2
