iMessage you can receive messages from xx

Since temp change of mobile number which did update when I used new temp sim yesterday
I now still have temp mobile number which I cannot edit or delete from IMessage settings.
Meaning I cannot snd texts from Xs or receive texts on ipad.
This was working on iPhone 8.
My original mobile number is since parted accross to this new sim.
Can someone advise how I can return imasseages and FaceTime and texts to original mobile number please.
I have both Xs and Ipad logged into same FaceTime user info and network
I did try logging out and in and no joy.

Just iphone that seems to be determined to hold onto my temp sim number which I cant edit delete or update to my original number.

Thanks all finally got texts to and from ipad sorted.

Maybe IMessage+Facetim on both Ipad +Xs will reflect my original teal number after some time.
Now that texts are working, I'll try login out and in+ re start from weekend of not updated.
Nice to see Xs has my original number ported.
