How come my imessage keeps turning off? I turn it on and it just goes back off again. Any ideas?

Do the people you are texting have an iPhone? If not, then it will not work when texting those people.

Or are you saying that as soon as you turn the slider ON it slides back to OFF?

Yes, if I turn on the slider button it goes right back off. And I am texting other Iphone users
I can actually sit here and watch it turn itself off.

Try a hard reset (you won't lose any data. Also when you turn the switch on, make sure you actually drag it across the screen from Off to On and then let go, don't just quickly flick it.

I'd say try turning it off -> hard reset -> on with how I described above

The other iPhone users need to be on iOS 5 and also using iMessage. Other than that, i don't see a reason why it wouldn't work.

Ok, I will try the hard reset. The other Iphone users all have 4s and their imessages on.
