iMac 2017 and Ventura 3.5.
iPhone 13 mini and IOS 17.

When I sign on to iMessages with my appleid and then check settings, there is a spinning wheel on the iMessage's tab against my appleid.

iMessage then disconnects itself and I have to keep signing on again. Also iMessages won't sync with my iPhone 13 mini (IOS 17), even though the settings on the iPhone are correct.

Any help please?

Not sure of a solution for this. But, if it was me, I would sign out of Apple ID on the Mac device completely, then log in again. Thus, seeing if that would help iMessage...

Thanks Circatee,
I have been able to overcome the problem by reinstalling Ventura from the maintenance screen. It still shows as Ventura 13.5, but now the messages app syncs properly with my iPhone.
