iPhone iMessages: No Pic for my own contact

So, I am using messages customiser on my jailbroken iphone 5s running ios 7.04. My question is how do I change MY icon? I can see all of my contacts chatheads-like contact pics, but my contact pic is blank. I changed my information in my contacts phonebook, but nothing is showing up for my pic! Any ideas? Thanks! And before anyone bites my head off for this, yes I have tried to search for this or any topic related and have not been able to find this exact topic or thread anywhere. Thanks again!

Do you have your contact profile assigned in
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Contacts>My Info?

you having issues with words not showing up when you type them till you hit return? i have black bars on and its been happening .
