iMessages not showing on Watch

Hi all,

Got the watch today, love it! I get text and email notifications correctly, my contacts are on there, but when I click on the iMessage icon, nothing loads. It only gives me the option to create a new message. Anyone know how to fix?

Mine only receives messages when my phone is asleep. Otherwise my phone gets them.

I mean, the watch isn't storing my iMessages like my iPhone is.
