so last night around 9-10pm est I sent out a couple of iMessages to my buddy and it said delievered on my end of things but this morning I asked him about those texts and he sent me a screenshot of those texts not showing up at all on his end. I’m wondering if anyone had any issues with iMessages going into thin air. Also when I got my new phone yesterday setting it up as new and restoring messages from iCloud sync did not restore all of my messages and for the ones that it did, It’s pictures are all out of order for that message thread. What’s going on?

We are having problems with iMessage & SMS texts. My sister has some contacts where iMessages work but not for me & not for another of her friends. We've turned iMessage off & on several times, rebooted the phone, etc. I think she's going to try wiping it & starting over. My brother & I have a problem with SMS text. They are not showing up on other devices even though the sync is turned on (was working before the new phones), they are not showing up on the watch. We can send an SMS text from the watch & it goes through but the watch does not realize it has gone through. Definitely a hassle.
