So I haven't tried iMessaging on both my Macbook Pro 2010 running Yosemite and my iPhone 6 running iOS 8.1 ...
All I know is that everybody I know who has tried this in the past on previous versions of OSX and iOS has had problems that would cause messages to send only as SMS to them on the iPhone side and miss messages / receive late "delivered" messages on one device or the other and a multitude of other issues with iMessages not syncing to certain devices or whatnot..
Can anybody running Yosemite and iOS 8.1 confirm if any of these issues may have been patched at all? Sometimes I'd rather have a full keyboard to type out responses, but if these issues are still present I'm not even going to try to associate any email accounts with my iMessage or anything ..
