.img3 conversion?? Please help

Friend sent me pictures from her phone, apparently from a photosafe app, they are .img3 and I cannot view them on windows. Downloaded fixpngwindows and that doesnt seem to work either. can someone please help? How do I convert/decrypt/whatever I need to do to view these? Thank you
