Immediately billed?

Was anyone else billed immediately after you placed an order through the Apple app? I thought you were not supposed to be billed until item was preparing to ship. I placed an order at 2:02am and was billed at 2:07am.

They first put a hold on your credit card, then when it ships they charge your card. Sometimes, it over-laps and so you have 2x the amount because of that.
