iMovie '06 Question

I'm new to IMovie 06 and I have a newbie question. I've been adding photos to the storyboard, but by default IMovie seems to invoke panning on each and every photo. Is there a way to turn that off and apply them individually to only the pictures of your choosing? Thanks!!

That's the Ken Burns effect. Yes, you can turn that off. Click on "Show Photo Settings", and uncheck "Ken Burns Effect".
