I have a question about sound on a video clip. I have imported music and I have unchecked the top box for photos and video. How do I go about allowing sound from the top row for a particular clip, then go back to only music for the remainder? Thanks!!

Instead of turning off the sound you will have to take the volume out of the section of the do not want to hear until you wish to fade it back in. Fade in and out....

Hope this helps.

This is right. Don't uncheck the sound box. You need the sound on, but where you want to drop the sound out, or in, you will click on the volume line over the clip at that point, and then drop or raise it. It should create a little dot, and then you can adjust the fade amount by moving the top of the curve left or right in the timeline.
