iMovie '08 Exports Audio But Not Video - Help!

I have just tried to use iMovie '08 for the first time today.

I have recorded a screencast using Snapz Pro. The recording is a .mov file. It plays fine in QT.

I imported it into the iMovie library. Every seemed fine. The video and audio plays in iMovie fine. I tried to export it as a .mp4 file to play on YouTube and the iPod but it only exported the audio!

What am I doing wrong? I am going crazy over this!!

I'm having the exact same problem. Not black, but a frozen video (no motion) that's upside down and backwards. LOL.
