imovie 08 help

[Helpplz!]

I need help with imovie 08.
when i export my movie the sound is fine but the video only shows up as a purlish screen with thick black bars going across. I was wondering if u knew what was up.
im using Qt 7.5

MAC OX X
version 10.5.6
procssor dual 1.8 Ghz PowerPC G5
Memory MB DDR SDRAM

my original imported files are.mov
i can see the videos normal in imovie

need more info.. Are you exporting with Quicktime or the built in iMove "Share" feature?

What are your export settings?

And while you're at it, update QT to the latest version.
