I want to add music to a project in iMovie and not hear the sound originally recorded on the camera. Adding the music is easy but how do I get rid of the original audio.

Its got to be so easy to do that I must have over looked the option to do it.

select the clip(s) that you want to remove the audio from click the speaker icon and drag the volume slider to the left.

Thanks for that, I knew it had to be easy but could not see the wood because of the trees.
