iMovie '08 importing problems (sony sr11, avchd, .mts) :confused:

Last week, I successfully imported AVCHD video (.mts) from my Sony SR11 camcorder via iMovie '08. Today, iMovie doesn't seem to recognize the camera plugged in by USB, even though the disk is mounted on the desktop.

in iMovie-->File-->import from camera, only the built-in camera appears, not the USB connected SR 11.

Please help :-(

it's weird. some guys say change avchd to mp4 for editing in imovie.
