this is my first time using imovie 08 to make a photo slideshow, and i'm having a hard time trying to put like a DVD main menu. i've tried iDVD and it was easy to make but the thing is that the quality of the pictures to me when i preview is horrible can anyone help? thanks!

2 questions
1) are the pictures of the same quality in iDVD as they are in iMovie. (so is rendering decreasing the quality)
2) what are you watching it on? When you watch it on an sd television the photos should look great. But on your screen (with a lot higher resolution) the pictures do look bad.
