iMovie 08 questions

Hi,

I just discovered today on my Powermac that I had two iMovies. One that was imported from my old computer (version 5.something), and the newer iMovie 08.

I am really amazed that there are no effects that come with 08. I searched around a bit on the forum and it seems I will have to upgrade to iLife 09 for that.

Also, can anyone tell me when I use titles in iMovie 08, if I always have to use those silly themes they offer? Or can I type titles simply on a black background like in the old iMovie.

Finally, is there anyway I can still download iMovie 06?? Or is that a thing of the past?

You probably just can't use any of the effects, as you're using a PowerPC.

And iMovie aught six is no longer downloadable.
