iMovie 08 - Two Videos Side-By-Side?

I'm making a video of conversations between me and my friend. We both record ourselves using macs via iMovie. And i wanted to somehow be able to compile the two videos together in iMovie so that they play side by side?

I should also mention if anyone has a solution in imovie HD, i can do that too...

Yeahh...

Something tells me im not gonna have any luck with that haha. But even like some sort of plugin or template or something would be fine. I just need something.
