iMovie 08-Where did my adjustment windows go?

When I open iMovie 08 now, I can no longer see the adjustment windows when I select "adjust audio" or adjust video". I've used hot corners to check to see if I slid them out of view, but no luck.

Any ideas how to get them back up?
