Hey everyone -

I'm a first-time Mac owner (but I'm pretty familiar with iMovie from high school.) I've made a couple movies on my MacBook Pro iMovie 09' already and have slowed down a video clip before. For some reason with the video I'm currently working with when I try to slow down a video it won't show the video clip I've just edited in the preview window when I try to play it back. Before I do this everything works fine, but for some reason when I try to slow down the video it does this. After I try to make this edit I can't view any other videos I have in iMovie using the preview window. (I can view unedited clips, but anything edited doesn't work.)

I can view my movie using the expanded full screen viewer, but nothing will visually show on my preview screen. I can hear sounds - no images.

When I restart my computer everything goes back to normal. I just don't mess with slowing down my clips.

I sat through 2.5 hours of system updates to see if that would solve my problem. I have also deleted my iMovie pfiles as suggested by a different forum.

I searched through all other forums and haven't come across anyone who's had this similar problem. So I'm stuck and need help!!

Please & thank you!!
