Hi, I am first timer on this forum and in need of some real help...
I have been editing a movie on iMovie the past two days and am far into the project. Its a typical youtube movie with hundreds of random photos and short video clips changing to the lyrics of a song. (around an image per second)
iMove today (second day editing) started getting slower, so I chose to restart my machine (a MBP bought in Sept last year).
1. After my restart, iMove stopped working all together. The Project Browser window (or where i add photos to the timeline) does not work - it either remains blank, or freezes completely. When i move the mouse cursor it still plays back normally, though the browser remains frozen.
2. The other controls of iMove stops working too. For example, clicking menu buttons ('import photo' etc), sliders etc - they all have stopped working.
I would be really grateful for some help, I have tried to remove the two following files from Library/Quicktime folder to no avail:
1. Perian.component
2. AC3MovieImport.component
now there are no files in this folder.
I have attached my crashreport as a PDF here, hope someone can help me out!
