It seems that every time I use the precision editor, everything starts to jam up and now the whole darn thing has more or less ground to a halt.

I have several projects on there that I cannot access.

I have two questions:

1. How do I re-install iMovie '09?
2 If I do this, will I lose what's currently there, i.e. my existing projects.

I am coming, reluctantly, to the conclusion that this release is a piece of *****.

please help!!!

1. If your Mac came with iMovie '09 preinstalled, you should have also received an iLife '09 installation disc. You would reinstall iMovie with that. Otherwise, it might be on one of the original software recovery discs that shipped with your Mac.

2. If you're simply reinstalling iMovie over an existing installation, your project files and media (probably placed in an "Event" folder) should still be intact.
