I have worked on a large video project for days. I finished making all of my video edits and made sure I have the proper settings to export an .mp4 file at full 1080p! Now, the iMovie project itself comes to 249GB. It takes up most of the space on my Mac Mini HDD. I exported the 1st time and got an error code ~1309. I googled the info in and understood that the issue was the FAT32 format which limits the file sizes to 2GB. I needed to buy an external HDD for Mac which was formatted to HFS+. This I assumed would fix all of my problems. Sure enough, I export my video all over again and make sure I am saving to the external HDD. This time I got the error code ~2125. I am currently transferring my iMovie project to the external HDD, then delete the files off my mac mini hdd. Then I will try to export the file from the External HDD to the Mac mini hdd. Does anyone know if what I am doing is right? Are there errors you can foresee before I go through the 15+ hour exporting process yet again?:apple:
