iMovie 09 Question

Hi all

I am currently importing, editing then exporting my families home movies.

My question is, i have to wait 20 + minutes for it to import and establish the time line. Can you keep working with in imovie say continuing to edit another moving whilst it's importing another? Also goes with exporting too, i find i have finished one movie and start exporting then i can't do anything until it finishes

No. Importing and exporting are processor hungry tasks. I don't think it's possible to do this yet.
