I recently made a short video of a ski trip I went on. The footage was 720p and the raw clips are stored on my hardrive. There was no problems when making the video, everything worked fine (a few crashes towards the end when I was getting impatient and thought clicking would hurry things up).
I've come to exporting it, and I haven't really used iMovie for anything before (i made a short 15s clip before). I have tried .mov, .avi, .mpeg and iDVD and they all seem to start off fine, the time remaining goes down, then after a while the time remaining goes up, then further up, then the bar just freezes (usually just before half way). The clip I am trying to export is only 9 minutes long. I've tried leaving it over night to export and the bar hadn't shifted.
I've searched around but can't find a solution to this problem. I have 100GB free HD space, 8GB ram (4.37GB used according to iStat).
Has anyone got any suggestions that might make me able to export this video?!
