I hope you can help

spent 50+ hours creating 7minute iMovie project. Basically used just photos not video.

Just when I'm so close to the end iMovie has stopped letting me edit or add anything. Eg can't change clip lengths or edit audio length or settings. The only thing I can edit is the transistions between clips.

The duplicate movie and share options have been greyed out as well.

I hope someone can help, I have created for my grandmothers 80 th in 3 days time!!!

That is weird. I've seen this mentioned once or twice before and don't recall a fix.

Do you have plenty of disk space remaining?

Do you remember that last thing you added or did before this problem occurred? Perhaps backing that out will help.

Can you export a version of the movie to a file?

I was just editing the length of clips when it stopped letting me do this.

After hours of research I have found that if you change the title of the project then go back into it, the share options are suddenly available and you can edit again.... but not for long... after a few minutes it stops you editing again and share options go back grey.

I have tried to copy and paste the entire movie into a new project, but no sound or text was copied over, and the same suituation occured - the share options disapear after a short while.

If I keep changing the title and going back into the movie, I hopefully can finish the movie and share.

Very strange
