i wana use the rewind effect does the clip have to be dedicated to rewind or can i use it in the middle of a regular forward playing clip. not sure if i worded that right lol.

could be wrong, but I think if you select the region you want to rewind first, you can do so...are you rewinding, or trying to only run the clip in reverse?

If running the part only in reverse, trim the part you want then use the rewind/reverse feature.

If you are playing the clip forward, then rewinding, then forward again, you'll want to trim the section of interest, copy it twice, then add the reverse effect to the middle...I haven't done this in a while, but that's what I recall.
