My iPhoto videos no longer show in iMovie11(v9). When I open iMovie they show in the Event Library, but selecting them brings up the message that the source clips are missing. This has only just started happening.

My still photos still appear in the Media Browser, and the videos are still in iPhoto, just not appearing in iMovie.

Anyone else had this problem?

Dave just out of interest open a new project in iMovie and import a photo and see what happens.
I updated free of charge the new iMovie when i installed Maverick and my older version of iMovie plays up.
When i have trouble of that nature my first port of call is to restart my computer. Close iMovie before. As I work with FCP-X and at times iMovie and FCP-X dont talk to each other. So I put them to sleep and waking them. It works. But this is not a thing I have to do very often.

Will the clip play in your timeline if you drag it in? and have you asked to find the clip on your computer?
Have you checked your backup files.
