iMovie '11 not playing the audio of project made in iMovie 09

I opened a project made in iMovie 09 in iMovie 11 and everything was working fine until I deleted an audio track to change it to a different song. Now when I click play the audio track is just silent. Even if I change it back to the old song, it is silent now. Anyone else having this issue, or have a fix? Thanks

Create a new project and see if audio plays in that. Re-import the project and try again. Try it in adifferent account. Trash the iMovie Preference file and re-try.
