iMovie 11 problem

Hey guys hopefully someone can help me out with this. I have iMovie 11 all up to date and on my first project I selected my clips and dragged them into the storyboard(i guess thats what you would call it) and from what I'm told you can drag the clips around to change the order of them but when i click and drag it doesn't do anything. Anyone know how to fix this? my friend can do it on his macbook pro but I can't. Any help is appreciated

Are you trying to move them in the Project window or the Events window? Are you double clicking the clip so that it gets a yellow border? You should be able to move it then.

I'm trying to rearrange the order of clips in the project window. It has the yellow border but when I attempt dragging the clip doesn't move positions. thanks for the reply
