iMovie 2 for OS 9 not Exporting to QuickTime

So I just got my iBook G3 set up and I was working with iMovie. When I went to export the video, I tried to export to QuickTime. This is where the problem came in: When I select "To QuickTime" from the drop-down menu of targets, the window disappears. I can export fine on my Power Mac using the same OS version (9.2.2), the same iMovie version, and the same QT version (version 6). Does anyone know why this issue is occuring?

QuickTime 6.0.3?

Yes, that's the version I believe. It just identifies itself as QuickTime 6, but I believe it probably should be the latest.

Bump + The plot thickens:

I just tried exporting a video in QT today and it locked up the system. Could this be a memory issue? (it has 128MB) or would it likely be due to a messed up installation?
