iMovie 5: Importing LiveType movie

Hi, I keep importing LiveType movie (aka titles with background movies) into iMovie, but after they've done importing, the titles themselves lose quality and get pixel-y. I was wondering if there is a way to enhance the quality?
PS, I have ensured to export the LiveType Movie to QuickTime at the same resolution and frame rate as the iMovie project.
