imovie 6 on Leopard

OK I don't have one yet but for the sake of this question i will pretend I own a macbook running leopard with ilife 08. I don't like imovie 08 and I know that Apple used to have a download on there site for disgruntled customers who wanted imovie HD 6 back that they have since taken down. I was wondering if there is a fairly easy way to download or install from disc imovie 6. I don't mind paying as long is its not wickid expensive. Also i have an imac from like 2005 and I have disks that came with it somewhere. if i found those discs do you think one of the might have ilife 6 that I could install to my macbook?
 
If you have or can find some old iLife '06 discs on eBay, it should work just fine - but you'd have to uninstall '08.
